The regions of Terraskund are somewhat tricky to understand as there is no firm stance on where each region begins or ends. How the inhabitants figure the regions is by the name of the largest city of each part of the land. **Hallaliena Groll**

[[Merchant's Tongue]][[Regions]] > Shade

Shade

The Shade Region stretches over the north-eastern part of the land. Notable locations within the Shade Region is Shad'Mavara, a sizeable militant city. The region is nearly barren, still holding the scars of many brutal battles. The terrain is rough, cold, and dry. Trees and little to no grass sparsely populate the land grows here.[[Regions]] > Hallaliena Groll

Hallaliena Groll

The Hallaliena Groll Region stretches from Vutk city to the edge of Da'Haliena Forest. It also includes parts of Lake Nabust and the entirety of the Me'Dak Mountain region. It has been argued in the Royal Thige to make Me'Dak its own region but it has never made it past the planning stage. The Groll is a long stretch of grassy plain. The forest, oddly enough, does not grow trees with leaves. Other than the dead trees, the Groll is filled with life, though the climate is hot. The closer you get to Me'Dak mountains, the hotter the climate gets. [[Regions]] > Bridgeband

Bridgeband

The Bridgeband Region stretches along the Griffon River. It reaches from Vidilla down to the Northern edge of the Griffon River. Oddly enough, this region does not include the Uaz Basin. The region is cool, most likely thanks to the river. The area is more frequented by bandits.
[[Regions]] > Ellyrois

Ellyrois

The Ellyrois Region stretches from the southern edge of the Griffon River. It includes the town of Griffon itself, the Uaz Basin, and the Southern Parthama Sea. The region has a balanced climate. This region may be the smallest named of all the regions, but it has the largest mage/magi population. This region is predominantly occupied by humans.[[Regions]] > [[Hallaliena Groll]] > [[Cities]] > Vutk

Vutk

Vutk is the largest city in all of Terraskund, second only to the destroyed city of Freyja. It sits far north of the land. Vutk is best known for its large and powerful army and their yearly held tournaments. Vutk also has the largest concentration of Orcs that live outside of an Orc settlement. Vutk is situated near the tundra of Shad'Mavara but on the grasslands of Hallaliena Groll. Vutk is the only city within Terraskund that does not have a Magi tower.
[[Regions]] > [[Shade]] > [[Cities]] > Vutk

Shad'Mavara

Shad'Mavara is the largest 'city-settlement' in the Shade Region. It is situated on a frozen tundra, sparsely populated by trees, grass, and the occasional stray goblin. This city-settlement is mostly composed of militiamen and sellswords, though the occasional adventurous merchant swings through. The Shade Magi Tower that sits on the tip of Shadow’s Peak overlooks the city.
[[Regions]] > [[Ellyrois]] > [[Cities]] > Vutk

Tes'La

Tes'La is a large city-settlement known for the Tes'La Magi Tower, better known as The Galinal Tower, which sits at the very top of Galinal Peak. Tes'La is also famous for being the fortress of a Magi King back in the Dragonica Age, when the region used to be called Ellyrois. Tes'La is home to many powerful Magis and Mages alike. The main attraction being a chance to study at the tower.
Berr'Lak is a city almost identical to Vutk except in size. Berr'Lak is well known for their tri-monthly tournaments, bloody entertainment nearly everyday, and the Berr'Lak Magi Tower of Destruction Magicks. Berr'Lak is one of the most toughest and crime-riddled cities in all of Terraskund. It is more corrupt than Vutk and holds more environmental hazards than Shad'Mavara. The Carberton Tavern is one of its most popular and frequented attractions. It is rumored that The Carberton was built before the city was even established and that the city itself was built around the, then, small mead hall.
Xharlion

Full Name: Xharlion Ve’kilka
Species: Feline Shifter
Gender: Male
Occupation: Galinal Scholar,
Discipline: Magi - Immolation
Appearance: Xharlion is a 5’5” feline shifter with lightly tanned skin, amethyst eyes, long red hair with a large red fringe covering his right eye. He has pointed, elven ears. He wears hard leather, armor plate. It is cut in a V-shape going up towards his mid-chest showing off his flat, lightly muscled stomach. The hard leather is grey in color with a simple darker grey trim. He has off-white, fingerless gloves adorning hands. He wears tan trousers, olive green, leather shoes, and a brown 'battle skirt' that only falls across his crotch and his ass. He usually keeps his three feline tails wrapped around each of his leg and above his waist.
Bio: Xharlion was born and raised in Haliena Village, in the middle of Da’Haliena Forest. He had studied with the elders of the village but was never satisfied with the bland magics they taught. Wanting to learn more and see more, he volunteered to venture outside of the forest, acting as a healer for the Haliena Guardsmen that were traveling to Shad’Mavera in hopes of strengthening the village’s relationship with the large trade city by assisting them with the goblin problem. Xharlion was sent along with Sven, Mana, and Sarang to help the, at the time, temporary commander L’Arce Ace, in destroying the invading goblin army.
Together with the help of the Shad’Lowe Militia, they were able to drive off the goblin army. Sven, Mana, and Sarang returned back to the village, leaving Xharlion behind. Xharlion put his knowledge and teachings from the Haliena elders to work in helping rebuild the Shade Magi Tower. Because of his rebuilding efforts, the tower was able to function once again and scholars from the Galinal tower sent for Xharlion, wanting to have the person who nearly single-handedly rebuilt the tower, to study under them.
Xharlion, happy for the chance to study with such a well known group of intelligent Magis, took up the offer. He was warned by the surviving elders of Shade Magi Tower to hide the fact he was a shifter because of the negative way the people of that region looked upon them. Since that day, he has never shifted and always hid his tails. Xharlion was rather rambunctious in his youth. He would frequently get into trouble back in his village. Though he doesn’t show it at the Galinal tower, he is still rather spirited and stubborn. He is quiet but extremely opinionated and doesn’t let anything slip by him without his comment or appraisal.
**Full Name:** Oregren, The One-Man Army
**Species:** Orc
**Gender:** Male
**Occupation:** Sag’Lanakian Murks Mercenary Company Leader, Ex-Commander of Sha’Lowe milita
**Discipline:** Berserker - Warmonger
**Appearance:** Oregren is a 7’5” Orc with greyish green skin, narrow amber eyes, and thick tusks protruding from his lower maw. His right tusk is broken in half. He has a large, bulky form, with bulging muscles and thick limbs. He wears thick, red pauldrons with spikes made of bone-like material. Under the pauldron is a short, black cloak. Adorning his chest is simple leather material with the same bone-like spikes that are on his pauldrons. They are in a crisscross design across his bulging chest. On his legs is a simple red battle skirt being held up by a thick red and gold belt. On his feet is large silver plated, leather boots.
**Bio:** Oregren was born and raised inside the Me’Dak Orcish Settlement called within the Me’Dak Mountains. After a falling out with his tribe -- because of a forced mating -- he left the settlement and headed for Shad’Mavara. Living in Shad’Mavara as the only Orc, then, he was quickly hired into a local militia as extra muscle when the Goblins threatened the city’s livelihood. Shad’Lowe, one of the first towns to fall to the goblins, was where he earned his name. He single handedly killed the 100 goblins that had made their temporary base at the ransacked town. He was quickly promoted to commander when the former commander was killed at Shad’Lowe. Together with the help of a few Shifters from Da’Haliena Forest, they were able to push back the Goblins and thwart their plans to take over. After the war, there was no need for the militia and so it disbanded. Oregren, never one to sit still, became a sellsword for all who had the coin. His reputation as an ex-commander allowed him to charge a hefty price for his services. He quickly managed to establish a small mercenary company with only the finest warriors were able to join.**Full Name:** Elomonia Sevegard
**Species:** Elven (Wood)
**Gender:** Female
**Occupation:** Forager
**Discipline:** Mage - Elemental
**Appearance**:unknown
**Bio:**unknown
**Full Name:** Vaegaati, The Wise
**Species:** Appears Human
**Gender:** Male
**Occupation:** Galinal Scholar
**Discipline: **Magi - Mystic
**Appearance:** Vaegaati is a 5’5” humanoid with fair skin and narrow lavender eyes. His physique is completely hidden by the black robes he wears with a black cloak wrapped around his shoulders, the hood of which he always wears when he’s outside of the tower. He can always be seen holding an orange, tabby cat, which one can also find him talking to from time to time. He has long, deep purple hair that flows down to his mid-back. He has a mystical blue flame on his left eye that he claims to be the soul of a long lost friend.
**Bio:** Vaegaati doesn’t like to talk about his past at all. He was born in Cedar Village, a village at the base of the Me’dak Mountains, where he lived for most of his life until he left for the Berr’Lak tower. It was in that tower that he proved himself worthy of studying in Galinal. Vaegaati isn’t talkative until one asks about what it is he is currently working on. He comes across as immature and bratty at times, which has earned him a less than favorable reputation from the older, senior scholars, to which their opinions of him do no matter to him. He spends most of his time either in the library studying or in his quarters with his cat, who he has named Silas. Silas, in actuality, is a Feline shifter who has lost the ability to shift into a more humanoid form. The flame around Vaegaati’s eye is actually the only reason why the cat still lives. Vaegaati gets along well with Xharlion, mostly because the purple haired magi adores cats. **Full Name:** Litiny “Ace”
**Species:** Feline Shifter- Cat
**Gender:** Male
**Occupation:** Traveling Merchant
**Discipline:** Magi - Restoration
**Appearance:** Litiny is 5 foot tall feline shifter. He has a slender form with a narrow waist and slightly flared hips and thick thighs. He has long, ass-length, curly blue hair. Two large, fluffy, blue ears peak out at the top of his mop of hair. He has olive skin and emerald green eyes with slitted feline pupils. There is an ‘x’ shaped scar under his right eye. He wears a bright yellow tunic that hangs off both of his shoulders. The sleeves of the tunic hang down to cover over his arms and hands and down the front of his crotch, covering his black, tight, leather pants. He wears leather boots that stop mid-calf. Oddly enough, the left sleeve of his tunic looks empty.
**Bio:** Little is known about Litiny because of his lack of memory. The little information anyone can gather about the quiet feline can be learned directly from his traveling companion. Litiny is a traveling merchant who has a strong affinity for magic and magical items. He sells runes, tombs, scrolls written by himself, and any other magical item he happens upon during his travels with the woman he dubs ‘mother’. He is kind and meek, coming across, at first, as a simple individual, ‘a dim lit candle’ as L’Arce puts it, though when it comes to anything to do with magic, he shows just how intelligent he is. As a consequence of unknown events in his past, he is missing his left arm from the elbow down. L’Arce theorize he lost it in battle, but she cannot be for certain when and by what means. Litiny has traveled a long side L’Arce longer than she can really recall.
**Full Name:** L’Arce Ace
**Species:** Elven (City)
**Gender:** Female
**Occupation:** Traveling Merchant
**Discipline:** Warrior- Gladiator
**Appearance:** L’Arce is a 5’4” elven woman. She has a slight muscular form with olive skin, feathered shoulder-length, blue hair, and narrow, amber eyes. She has pointed, elven ears. She wears silver plated armor. Her breast plate is silver, the leather gorget around her neck that attaches to her breastplate with golden snaps is a reddish brown. The pauldron on her left arm is silver and made of metal unlike the mostly leather brown one on her right arm. The leather tunic covering her stomach is brown in color, siphoning off into the silver chainmail skirt that covers most of her leather clothed thighs. Her feet are clothed in silver plated boots.
**Bio:** L’Arce was born and raised in the city of Shad’Mavara to a merchant father and a guardswoman mother. Her father was among the wealthiest persons in all of Shad’Mavara and her mother served the guard as 2nd in command and was regularly stationed at Fort Shadow. Growing up, L’Arce decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and became one of the youngest to serve the guard. Following the events of the Blighted War, when the Goblins of the Northern Shade region invaded, both L’Arce’s parents were killed. After the Shade Magi Tower fell, L’Arce took up the reigns as temporary commander and drove off the horde of invading goblins. She was hailed as a hero for her deeds and even had a statue built in here honor but was later destroyed by revenge seeking stray goblins from the horde-- at least that’s her version of the story. Having no other ties to the slowly rebuilding city, L’Arce left home to travel Terraskund and took up being a sellsword and later began selling items she came across on her adventures. She met Litiny during her time as a sellsword. She was in deep with some rogue-band of militiamen. She was left badly beaten and bloodied. She was near death’s door and would have died if Litiny hadn’t happened upon her. He tended to her wounds and took care of her until she was well. The first word he ever said to her was ‘Mommy’ and from then on started relationship as traveling merchant companions. Really, there seems to be something odd about the story, but it is as she explains it and there is nothing anyone can do but take her word for it.**Full Name:** Symphonia von Cresthammer
**Species:** Elven (City)
**Gender:** Female
**Occupation:** Traveling Bard
**Discipline:** Rogue- Bruiser
**Appearance:**unknown
**Bio:**unknown
**Full Name:** Melody Cris’ilver
**Species:** Human
**Gender:** Female
**Occupation:** Apothecary/Shop Owner
**Discipline:** Mage- Restoration
**Appearance:** Melody is a 5’6” tall human. She has red eyes, caramel skin, and orange hair. She wears a simple green top with puffy long sleeves and a hood, jester-style flared pants, and a magi cloak with two black gems attached to the tails.
**Bio:** Melody was born and raised in Kaltalla. She was born to a family of infamous warriors in her town and was expected to be warriors like them. When she found she was gifted with magic, she set out to the closest magi tower, Shade Tower, in hopes of cultivating her magical abilities. She was able to learn a little bit of the healing arts before the fall of the magi tower. Because of the conflict, she was forced to migrate south and settled in Bridgeband. There, she met a Restoration Magi from the Galinal tower. She trained under her and began a full fledged Healer for the war. After the war ended, she stayed in Bridgeband, periodically sending letters back to her family. She ended up working at her former teacher’s potion shop until the woman passed away. Because her teacher didn’t have a family of her own, the shop was given to Melody.
Full Name: Tiko, The Sneaky
Species: Human
Gender: Female
Occupation: Bandit
Discipline: Rogue- Bruiser
Appearance:unknown
Bio:unknown - wanted criminal
**Full Name:** Sven Lane
**Species:** Canine Shifter- Fox
**Gender:** Male
**Occupation:** Haliena Guard
**Discipline:** Warrior- Rune Knight
**Appearance:** Sven is a 5’8” tall Canine Shifter. He has pointed elven ears, long orange hair tied into a low ponytail that stops 4 inches below his broad shoulders. He has Heterochromia iridum eyes: the left brown and the right green. He wears a crimson red bandana on his head. He wears the traditional green plated armor of the Haliena Guard with green, spiked pauldrons on one of his shoulders. Black boots adorn his feet armored with green plating. He carries a broad sword with magical symbols inscribed on its blade. He has a orange nub at the base of his tailbone, where his tail should be.
**Bio:** Sven was born and raised in Gloommeadow village. He was born to a human mother and a shifter father. Unlike his father, he was born with animalistic features: a tail and eyes that glowed in the dark. His shifter heritage was kept a secret away from the rest of the village for years. He was isolated in his house and was told to never leave without completely covering up. In a desperate attempt to end his isolation, he cut his own tail off to better fit in the elven members of the village. After mutilating his tail, his mother sent him to the Harkon settlement. There, he met a Wolf Shifter with an uncanny resemblance to him: Mana. As it turns out, Mana’s mother was Sven’s twin sister who had left her village to give birth to Mana. Sven was taken in by his aunt and her husband. Sven’s uncle is the one that taught him the way of the Warrior. He later learned to create his own magical runes and began to enchant weapons and armors. After the Goblin conflict spilled into their home and forced them to flee to Haliena, Sven began to regularly enchant weapon and armor for the Shad’Lowe Militia before he was recruited to join the conflict as a fighter. Because of his isolated upbringing, it is hard for him to empathize. He often finds himself mistakenly offending people.
**Full Name:** Mana Lane
**Species:** Canine Shifter- Wolf
**Gender:** Male
**Occupation:** Haliena Guard
**Discipline:** Warrior- Paladin
**Appearance:** Mana is a 5’9” tall Canine Shifter. He has pointed elven ears, shoulder length light blue hair with a rat tail ponytail trailing down his back. He wears the traditional green plated armor of the Halien Guard with two spiked pauldrons, and green plated boots. He wears a red bandana on his forehead. He lacks any features that would tip anyone off to him being a shifter except his sharp teeth.
**Bio:** Mana was born and raised for most of his life in the Harkon settlement, a Canine shifter settlement at the northern edge of the forest. Mana was a well known and liked member of the settlement. He was even arranged to marry the settlement’s chief’s daughter, who just so happened to be the love of his life. On one of his supervised patrols of the forest edge, he met a injured and starved Sven. Sven was distrustful of Mana at first and refused his help when it was offered. Mana would bring him food and water daily before Sven finally came around to trusting him. Mana brought the weakened fox shifter back to the settlement when he found out that he was actually related to the fox. From then onward, Mana and Sven were inseparable. He had his family were forced to flee from their home to the Haliena settlement after the Goblin conflict spilled into the forest and destroyed the small village. He later joined in the assault against the invading Goblins when Sven was asked to join.
**Full Name:** Sarang Loz
**Species:** Reptilian Shifter- Salamander
**Gender:** Female
**Occupation**: Haliena Guard
**Discipline:** Warrior- Dragoon
**Appearance:** She is a 5’8” tall Reptilian Shifter. She has pointed elven ears, wavy purple hair that stops mid back, and turquoise eyes. Her long prehensile, thick purple tail has a burning flame at the tip. She wears green plated armor with green, spiked pauldrons on both her shoulders. Green boots adorns her feet and she carries around an oddly shaped spear, which she calls the shredder.
**Bio:** Sarang is a hot-headed Salamander born in Gloommeadow Village to a human mother and Reptilian shifter father. Because of the nature of her birth, her parents were forced to leave the Gloommeadow forest for Da’Haliena forest where they planned to join a Reptilian settlement. During their venture to the forest, they were attacked by goblins. Sarang’s mother was killed during the attack and her father gravely wounded. He made it as far as the edge of the forest where he succumbed to his injuries. Sarang wandered around the edge of the forest until she came upon Canine shifter named Sven. The older Shifter had come from the same village as her because of similar circumstances and agreed to help her find the Reptilian settlement. Sarang learned the Warrior discipline from Sven, though learned a great deal from her Reptilian mentor. Not liking the way females were viewed in the Reptilian settlement, she left and found her way to the Haliena village where she became a guard. She later helped thwart the goblin threat along with Xharlion, Mana, and Sven. She is quick to anger and is overprotective of those she deems close to her. She holds Sven in high-regards because he has taught her nearly all she knows about combat and surviving.Shifters are the least populous race of Terraskund, though they have the longest life spans. They are mostly concentrated in the Da’Haliena forest. They live amongst Elves though history shows they weren’t always harmonious together. They are able to shift between a humanoid appearance to an animal or beastial form. Shifters, according to Elven lore, were servant animal familiars called upon by Elven practitioners of the summoning art. Little is known how they gained sentients. The second theory is that Shifters are the surviving race of Terraskund before the Dragonica War. There are many subspecies of Shifters, the most populous broad subspecies of Shifters are: [[Reptilian]], [[Feline]], and [[Canine]]. Little is really known about the Shifters outside of the Da’Haliena forest. The Galinal Tower, however, has a discipline focused on the study of the Shifter species. They’ve found the subspecies almost mirrors that of the main species of all of Terraskund: Humans, Elves, Orcs, and Dwarves. Their height and body type varies from what type of Shifter they are within the broad subspecies. The lesser known subspecies of Shifters are [[Draconian]] and [[Avian]]. Unlike the other subspecies of shifters, these two subspecies are nearly nonexistent. They are both said to be from before the great war. They are mentioned in pre-war texts, and date back pre-Terraskund.
Human are the most populous race of Terraskund. They make up most of the “Royal Thige”. They live in cities, towns, and villages scattered across the land. They are somewhat tall, standing at an average height of 5’5”-6’2”. The have average body types and are more inclined to join the Warrior discipline if they don’t have an affinity to magic. Most of the Magi that inhabit the towers across the land are Humans.
Elves are not as populous as humans but are near the same in their amount. They have 2 slots in the “Royal Thige”, one representing the City Elves, and the other representing the Wood Elves. City and Wood elves are equally populated, though seeing a Wood elf outside of a forest is extremely rare. Elves are nimble and shorter than their human counterparts, averaging out in height at 5’2-5’7. They have a more slender build with androgynous features. They are more inclined to follow the Rogue discipline than any other, if they have no affinity to magic. Elves are more sensitive to magic than Humans but rarely pursue official training from the Magi towers, hence why there are almost no Elven Magi.
Orcs outside of Orc settlements aren’t nearly as populous as humans or elves. Even though most of Terraskund view them little more as giant savages, they have a slot in the “Royal Thige”. They have extremely thick and strong builds and are more inclined to join the Berserker discipline than any other. They have an average height of 6’8”-7’3”. Their affinity to magic is almost non-existent. All those who do have an affinity of magic are usually those who live within the Orc Settlement. It is even more rare to find one at a tower.
Like Orcs, Dwarves tend to stay and live amongst their own, choosing to live in settlements carved into the mountains. They have a slot in the “Royal Thige”. One of their greatest settlements is carved in the Me’Dak mountains. There is a great collection of networks underground that connects each of the Dwarven nations together. Dwarves are short and stocky with an average height of 4’2”-4’6”. It isn’t readily known which discipline the Dwarves usually choose, though the ones outside of the settlements are usually Warriors or Berserkers. There are almost no Mages amongst the dwarves as they have low sensitivity to magic.
Gobos is the cousin race of the Goblins. They look exactly like Goblins, except, they are more civilize and can speak the common language of Terraskund. They also tend to be a light shade of orange, rather than the green of Goblins. Their average height is 3’5”-4’ Most Gobos don’t follow any fighting discipline. They prefer to peacefully trade with other races, though some Gobos follow the Warrior discipline if they do not have an affinity to magic and act as guards to the other Gobos. There is only one settlement of Gobos and they are led by the Gobo King. They live only the Shade region of Terraskund, though one can see the odd stray traveling alone to trade and bring back their goods to the settlement. They do not have a slot in the “Royal Thige”.**Reptilians** tend to have larger and stronger forms (height average 5’8”-6’2”). They can be compared to Orcs as they tend to keep to themselves in their own settlements outside of other Shifter inhabited villages and settlements. Reptilians are the least sensitive to magic which can be compared to Dwarves. They tend to follow the Berserker discipline no matter if they are gifted with magic. Though not as good as other subspecies of Shifters, Reptilians are able to see somewhat in the dark. They have better hearing than most but it is subpar compared to Canines and Felines.
**Felines** tend to be slender and smaller (height average of 5’0”-5’5”) than any of the other subspecies. The females and males tend to be hard to discern between. They can be compared to Elves as they tend to be extremely sensitive to magic(even more so than Elves). Even though majority of Feline tend to have an affinity for magic, they usually follow the Rogue discipline because of their quick and nimble form. If they follow the Mage discipline, very few venture outside of their village to pursue the title Magi because of the almost unwelcoming attitude the rest of Terraskund has about the Shifter race. They are able to see in the dark, heightened hearing, and can smell far better than any species save for Canine subspecies of shifters.**Canines** tend to have an average build and height (height average 5’7”-6’1”). They can be compared to Humans. They have an average affinity to magic that can be compared to Elves. They tend to follow the Warrior discipline - very few choose Berserker. The are able to see in the dark, but not as well as Felines. They have heightened hearing and can smell far better than any other species.
Mages can learn 5 disciplines: **Destruction, Elemental, Necromancy, Restoration, and Archon**. They can use staves, wands, tomes, and scythes as weapons to channel their magic.
** Destruction - prefers staves
** Elemental - prefers wands
** Necromancy - The only discipline that uses scythes.
** Restoration - prefers tomes and wands]
[[Magi vs Mage debate]]Berserker can learn 2 disciplines: **Warmonger** and **Death Knight**. They can use 2h-axe, 2h-sword, war axes, and hammers as weapons.
** Warmonger - prefers hammers
** Death Knight - Prefers 2h-sword
Warriors can learn 4 disciplines: **Paladin, Gladiator, Rune Knight and Dragoon**. They can use swords, axes, heavy shields, light shields, spears, and javelins as weapons.
** Paladin - the only discipline that uses heavy shields
** Gladiator - prefers swords and light shield
** Rune Knight - prefers swords
** Dragoon - only discipline that uses javelins
Magi can learn 6 disciplines: **Restoration, Immolation, Mystic, Nature, Rune Knight and Cold**. They can use staves, wands, tomes, and orbs as weapons to channel their magic. Some Magi can use any crafted weapon as channelers because of their advanced proficiency with magic.
** Restoration - prefers staves and wands
** Immolation - prefers staves
** Mystic- prefers to use tomes and magic orbs
** Nature - prefers staves
** Rune Knight - prefers swords
[[Magi vs Mage debate]]Rogues can learn 3 disciplines: **Archer, Scout, and Bruiser**. They can use daggers, bladed-tonfas, bows, crossbows, chakrams, fans, and cleavers as weapons.
** Archer - only uses bows/crossbow
** Scout - prefers daggers and cleavers
** Bruiser - only discipline that uses fans
The difference of being a Mage and a Magi is very simple, though some make it out to seem it is complex. The common man wouldn’t know anything about the difference but anyone with an affinity with magic that has trained with a tower knows. As stated above, a Magi is one who has had official training in the magical arts from a senior magick castor in one of the towers in Terraskund. All Magi are Mages but not all Mages are Magi. To acquire the title Magi, one must become a senior Mage. There are also disciplines a Magi would be introduced to that a Mage would not and ones a Magi would not bother learning (for example, Magis are discouraged to dabble in the dark arts. Those who do, lose their Magi status).[[Culture]] > **Dragonica War**

Dragonica War

Dragonica War is named for what Terraskund was before the split. It is said that Terraskund used to be much larger than it was now - because it had been a part of the mainlands. The entire region was called Ellyrois. A deadly war occured - with foul creatures only known to legend: Demons, Angels, and even Dragons! The crash of such creatures caused a catastrophic explosion that caused a piece of the mainland to crack and split. The piece of land was completely barren - the result of many decades of war. This piece of land mass was later named Terraskund - The land of nothing.[[Culture]] > **Blighted War**

The Galinal Tower

The Galinal Tower, officially known as The Tes’La Tower of The Arcane Arts, is the largest and most prestigious of all the Magi towers in Terraskund. It is the most difficult Tower to be admitted to and only takes in an average of three new students every two years. Being accepted to this tower is considered a high honor amongst Magi and Mages alike. Majority of the scholars within the other towers have been to the Galinal Tower. They have either been “disgraced”, demoted, or volunteer their knowledge for other areas of study that the Galinal Tower does not hold in high regard. The Galinal Tower sits on the peak of the Galinal Mountain, overlooking the city of Tes’La. The Galinal Tower has a curriculum mostly dedicated to the disciplines of Nature, Cold, Runes and Restoration.
Freyja was a huge bustling trade city in the Shade region. The city’s size easily dwarfed that of Vutk, being three times as large. Though officially recognized as one city, Freyja was more like a large kingdom. There were 5 “cities” within Freyja- Diem, Noctem, Tenebris, Nubes, and Lux. Even with its large size, Freyja had the lowest rate of crime in all of Terraskund. Those who committed crime were dealt with by a heavy hand from the law. It was also the host of the biggest Black Market trade in all of Terraskund. People would come from all corners of Terraskund to trade their wares there. Freyja, socially speaking, was more detached from the rest of Terraskund. They had their own laws and did not participate in discussion from the Royal Thige. They had a ruling family and the rule stayed within that family until their entire bloodline was gone. Despite the fact of the powerful military and the guilds within its holds, Freyja was the first and only city to be completely destroyed by the Goblin invasion. The stand off here was what weakened the goblin’s army and allowed others to defeat them.

Berr'Lak Magi Tower

The Berr’Lak Magi Tower is located just west of the city of Berr’Lak. It is the largest magi tower in all of Terraskund. The focus of this Tower is on destruction magic, which is where it got its name from. Some of the most powerful and well known Immolation Magis came from this tower.[[Regions]] > [[Ellyrois]] > [[Towers]] > **Shade Magi Tower**

Shade Magi Tower

The Shade Tower, as its name suggests, resides in the Shade region. The tower sits at the top of Shadow’s Peak, a mountain just north of the city of Shad’Mavara. Unlike the other two towers, the Shade Tower focuses on the darker side of magic. They do not condemn any type of magical practice, however, they will if word spreads about it. Their curriculum focuses on Spirit and Transformative magic. The tower is where the most well known Mystic Magis have come from.**Draconians**, according to studies from The Galinal Tower, are extremely attuned to magic. Nearly all the Draconians in ancient texts followed a discipline of magic, most of them were rune knights. The physiology of Draconians has been lost as only two known Draconians exists. The Draconian is a Rune Knight named Erwyllanius and her companion Raanciel a Necromancer; she and her companion live deep in the Me'Dak Mountains.
**Avians**, according to studies from the Galinal Tower, were extremely attuned to magic just like Draconians. Their physiology in texts saw them as extremely frail but powerful beings used in the backlines in wars. Their power was so great, they were almost completely wiped out or sealed away. There are only four known Avians but none of them are magically inclined, leading those to believe the text may not be as accurate as the Tower scholars make them out to be. The Avians include Vutk champions, Samuel and Enn'Aerhn; The innkeeper’s wife from Kalhalla, Cam; and Cam’s sister Lucy.**Full Name:** Fletcher “Resh” Hruudholgro

The Avian shifter was chained to a wall deep in the bowels of the ancient keep. After freeing him and realizing his abilities as a healer, the Hruudolgro tribe kept him as a “pet”. When the Hruudholgro tribe went to war with a neighboring Orc settlement, Fletcher was captured and sold in Vutk to a wealthy collector.
